Question from Kissimmee, Florida, USA:

How can I lose weight when I am medically unable to exercise? I have a heart condition, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, arthritis and type 2 diabetes. I am eating less than 1200 calories daily, 140 grams of carbohydrates, and am unable to lose weight. Can you help?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

Ask your primary doctor to refer you to physical therapy to develop an exercise plan that is safe for you with your limitations. That is a great way to get you started with the supervision that you need at first.
