Question from Ontario, Canada:

I am a male who has had diabetes for about 24 years now, and at the age of 21, I was unable to have children which I assume was due to the diabetes. I’d like to know whether there are treatments to fix this.

There are some basic tests that can be done to determine if there is normal sperm count, motility and function. Diabetes may affect any or all of these factors. I would suggest that you consult with a urologist about this.
