Question from Ontario, Canada:

Is there a pen for glucagon (similar to an Epipen for asthmatics), and if not, why?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

The closest is the Glucagon Emergency Kit for injection that has the syringe with a needle, and, after reconstitution, it is injected.

Glucagon is a powder and must be mixed before use because it is unstable.
FDA approval would be prohibitive for the return on investment.
