My best friend’s daughter, who is now 7, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes two years ago. Since then, every day she is given insulin shots. Is there any alternate medicine (Homeopathy) cure to generate insulin naturally in Type 1 patients without resorting to painful injections of insulin?

In type 1 diabetes, the person is unable to make insulin, which is necessary for life. In the early stages of diabetes, the child would still be making some insulin, but by 2 years most children would be making very little or none of their own insulin. Before insulin was available, people with type 1 diabetes died within a few months to a few years of their diagnosis. Although the current treatment is strenuous, people can live long and wonderful lives. We are all hoping for better treatment for diabetes.

If they haven’t tried the new “short” needle syringes, you should encourage them to give them a try. Also, as a
person who takes insulin, I can tell you that insulin injections don’t hurt; you feel them even less than the fingersticks.

If the parents haven’t tried an injection with the needle without any insulin in it, they owe it to their daughter to try it so they can be more accepting of this life-saving therapy.
