Question from Alpine, Texas, USA:

Is there diabetes educator training available for nurses?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

The International Diabetes Center in Minneapolis, MN (952) 993-2222 and Diabetes Management and Training Center in Tempe, AZ (602) 426-1965 both offer professional training programs. Your local chapter of the American Diabetes Association may offer two day review courses for the certification exam, which are helpful. You can also try the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
