Justin Delgado is husband to Kacie Doyle-Delgado, diagnosed at age 11. After more than a decade together, he considers himself to be an expert carb counter and Dexcom inserter. He graduated with his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Utah in 2013 and has been working in commercial banking since then. My 11 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about three months ago, and we are going on holiday to Spain where measure the blood sugar level differently than in the UK. I need a conversion chart.
See Blood Sugar Converter. One mmol/L is equivalent to 18 mg/dl. However, keep in mind that you should be taking your son’s meter (which I presume is set in mmol/L) with you, and should not need to convert at all.
