My six year old son was diagnosed with type�1 diabetes a year ago, and this week he was diagnosed with ADHD. He will be starting on a medication for the ADHD this weekend. He hasn’t a clue as to what is going on, but I am feeling totally overwhelmed.

The medication should have no significant effect on his diabetes. There are multiple great resources for learning more about ADHD that are available through your son’s pediatrician office.
