Question from Adelaide, Australia:

Do you see any value in adding ‘cinnamon’ on a regular basis to a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic child’s daily regimen, in light of it’s potentially promising effects on type 2 diabetes? I had read an article about this, Cinnamon May Help To Alleviate Diabetes.Could this also help in stretching out a ‘honeymoon’ period?

Answer:

There is no data, no science, no studies only interesting speculation about this. Certainly, it is not much likely that cinnamon would hurt as long as it is not cinnamon sugar.
