Question from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA:

Sometimes, after smoking a cigarette, eating, or getting angry/stressed out, my heart rate jumps to about 120 to 150. I start shaking, sometimes get a slight fever, feel fatigued, and have pain in my chest and arm. I also have a low body weight, urinate a lot, and am constantly hungry and thirsty. Does this sound like diabetes?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

It could. However, the usual symptoms that occur with diabetes are frequent urination, extreme thirst, weight loss, blurring of vision, and fatigue.
