Blood Tests and Insulin Injections
Question from Longview, Washington, USA:
We had an oops and went through about 20 strips of a new bottle of blood glucose strips before I realized that the new bottle had a different calibration than the previous one. I felt horrible that this happened as I am usually overly careful. How much can that affect the reliability of the test?
You could try to experiment and test twice in a row (on the correct code and on the wrong code) and see how much of a difference there is. At least you figured it out!
