Morghan

From her mom, Becky:

My daughter Morghan is an inspiration to me and so many others! She has battled this diagnosis with class and determination. It is hard, there are many nights we sit up waiting for her number to adjust and many days she is in class and her monitor goes off and I can’t do anything waiting for her to check in. She is in school to be a RN, and she will be the best no doubt! She is amazing at keeping the stress from others, most don’t know the battles she faces everyday with this. My heart aches for her and all that have Type 1. Someone said it could be worse and they are right but since the day of diagnosis she’ll never be a normal kid again. One that could eat or drink whatever they want. One that can run and hike and never worry about checking their number. One that has to have a conversation about, what is your number! They all handle it with grace but it is a daily battle for each of them no matter their age … for the rest of their life!
