Spicy Peanut Sauce

- ¼ cup nut or seed butter (use sunflower seed butter for any nut allergies)
- ¼ cup honey or sugar of choice
- ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice (can substitute rice vinegar)
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (or sriracha) (add more if you want it spicy!)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- ⅛ cup water
Combine nut butter and honey, then microwave for 10 - 20 seconds (to make the combination easier to stir).
Add remaining ingredients except water and stir until combined.
Add water 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached. You may need more pending on the thickness of your sauce.
Storage: Store in a tight-lidded jar in the fridge for up tp two weeks. Enjoy on noodles, chicken/tofu, vegetables!
