Is diabetes a disease that is considered a disability? If it is, where would a diabetic look to research and become aware of the protection afforded one with a disability as such?

Please have a look at the following page on the ADA web site: Reducing school and workplace discrimination, which begins: “The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against a person because of his/her medical condition. Diabetes is considered a disability under ADA and people with diabetes are protected by the law….”
