Regarding a previous question — we are facing exactly the same situation, except that our child is going into kindergarten. Do you know if the ruling would apply to schools also, rather than daycare situations?

The KinderCare case applied only to KinderCare, but the legal background for the case applies to all schools that receive any government funding. The American Diabetes Association is now providing support to families facing discrimination due to diabetes, and especially children. I urge you to contact your local ADA Chapter for assistance. If the local Chapter cannot help, contact the national office at 1-800-232-3472.
