Insulin Pumps

advertisement
Question from Bristol, the UK:

What are the main problems with catheter insertion devices?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

I assume you are asking about catheter insertion devices used for insulin pumps. The only one I know that is currently available is the Sof-serter by MiniMed for use with the Sof-set®, Sof-set Ultimate QR®, or Sof-set Micro QR®. Like anything else, it takes practice to use correctly. when used properly there appear to be no difficulties. Other devices of this type should will available in the near future.
