Due to bad scheduling errors, I am due to take my three-hour glucose tolerance test test at 32 weeks gestation, and a nurse told me that it would be more likely that I will ‘fail’ as this test was supposed to be done at 28 weeks. Is this true?

If you do not have gestational diabetes, then taking the test later will not increase the risk of “failing”. The problems arise when the test is done too early in pregnancy, and the diagnosis is missed due to a false negative result.
