My two year old granddaughter was diagnosed 6 weeks ago with type 1 diabetes. She experiences frequent periods of her hands shaking that seem to bear no relation to her blood sugars. We test her each time and her sugars could be anywhere between 100 to 300 mg/dl [5.56 to 16.7 mmol/L]. Could something else be wrong?
