Question from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA:

Is Splenda a sweetener I can use that will not raise my blood sugar level?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

Splenda (sucralose) is a sweetener that I recommend to all my folks with diabetes. It is made from sugar but does not affect blood sugars. It is also heat stable and can be used in baking and cooking. It also does not have the aftertaste as much as aspartame and saccharin. It is also widely available in grocery stores nowadays.
