Question from Hawaii, USA:

Is there any difference in blood sugar testing results if the finger is “milked” or squeezed, compared to if the blood drop comes out easily? If so, would it likely be higher or lower than the actual level?

From: DTeam Staff

Minimal differences are likely. It’s best to get a good drop of blood without too much squeezing so that this is more actual capillary blood rather than other tissue fluids.
