Question from New Jersey, USA:
Even though she takes medication at a regular time and her blood sugar is good with the medication, my daughter is again talking about thirst and hunger. She is maintaining her current weight; she has stopped losing. Is this normal?

If her glucose is okay, then the thirst isn’t from high glucose. As far as the weight, it is not surprising to see it with this pattern. The hunger is part of type 2 diabetes and the weight doesn’t continue to fall. Talk to the doctor about the A1c and the glucoses. It is likely that she needs more exercise.
