Question from Mayfield, Kentucky, USA:

My grandson, who has type 1 diabetes, has trouble sleeping and going to sleep. He seldom ever gets eights hours of sleep per night, even when his blood sugar is in range. His body will jerk as if he has cramps or something. Do you know of any correlation between diabetes and ability to sleep, especially in a child so young?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff
