Nicole Palmer
Our Team Golden Girls is walking with JDRF to end type 1 diabetes (T1D). The word ‘Golden’ in our team name is attributed to my sister Nicole who was diagnosed with T1D over 50 years ago. Nicole gives me inspiration each day to be the best I can be given life’s challenges. She has never let T1D limit her achievements throughout her life. Nicole is a remarkable woman and I am proud to call her my sister! Our team is also honored to have our mom, Jayne, walk with us this year. Jayne has been Nicole’s angel since she was 2 years old, being her advocate in dealing with juvenile diabetes. My mom Jayne is a true role model for all T1D supporters, both family and friends!
