Danny McCurry II
I was diagnosed in 1973 at 5 years of age. My father, who was also a Type 1, taught me how important it was to manage my blood sugar.
I always stayed active and watched what I ate. As I got older I started developing unrecognized hypoglycemia. I started using an insulin pump and CGM and it changed my life.
I now live worry free of low blood sugars. I am very grateful for the development of insulin. Thank you Lilly for my life.
