Diagnosed at five years old, Violet has never let type 1 diabetes hold her back. Violet has grown into a responsible teenager who is not afraid to try new things. She works tirelessly at keeping herself healthy so she can participate in anything. I am so proud of her. She handled the first 10 years amazingly well and has set herself up for a healthy, fulfilling future.
