We tend to call these T1 kids warriors…which they ALL deserve. To take care of your diabetes tirelessly for years, is a feat not created for the weak at all. Our son Christian is the epitome of strength! Ten years of managing not only his diabetes, but also anxiety triggered by PTSD at diagnosis. He not only “deals” with the issues daily, but he gets up to THRIVE in them. Not making T1 his the definition of his life and we are truly SO SO proud of his efforts daily! We love you bud!
