I was diagnosed at age 12 at Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg Pennsylvania. My diagnosis as missed by two doctors. I went into severe DKA as they failed to test my blood sugar level.

Brought to ER I’m an ambulance.

ICU Coma 4 days.

Lucky and blessed to be alive and healthy!

Am married with one adult 29 year old son now and am a mental health therapist for Kaiser Permanente now always striving to offer hope to others!
