Maxx was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 10 years ago in 2014 while on vacation in Hawaii. He has been such a trooper and we’re so proud of him. He handles a lot of the management of it all now independently. But still a great burden for him to bear. Yet a great example of how it does not hold him back from soccer, snowboarding, swimming, saxophone, singing, etc. He lives his life well and he’s hoping to be accepted as a Leader in Training at his diabetes camp this summer.
