My journey with diabetes has been a challenge since diagnosis. My parents were told I would never see thirty years old. I am a T1 warrior! I am fifty three and I am thankful to have been blessed with life and longevity. I used test tubes for urine testing, glass syringes, and had the first at home blood testing kit, did all new device testing. I am proud to have survived the odds, fought the fight, challenged the complications.
