From her mom, Elizabeth:
Ella was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on March 19, 2014. As a five year old, she didn’t understand the magnitude of this life changing diagnosis. However, she lives each day as if nothing, including her T1D, can hold her back. Ella’s outlook has been nothing short of positive over the last decade. She views this condition has a door opening opportunity. She has helped countless children who have been newly diagnosed and continually supports all Type 1 Diabetics to keep fighting the good fight. Her spirit is truly inspiring!
