Gabriela Sullivan
At the age of three, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Although it was never the ideal childhood with syringes, insulin, endless finger pricks, waking up at 3 am to treat a low blood sugar, it has made me who I am today. I have been able to travel the world, move my body, and be able to advocate for myself in so many ways.
