When Ariana was 1.5 years old I took her to the doctor because she kept throwing up after she ate. They said it was probably just a stomach bug. I also mentioned how she was drinking six, 20oz water bottles a day and peeing through her diapers. I was told by her pediatrician at the time that my kid was just really thirsty. Long story short, two days later, we were in urgent care waiting for my daughter to get out of a diabetic coma. Since then, it has been many years of battling highs and lows. There have been many sleepless nights and a severe low that caused a seizure, which put us back in the ER. Here we are 10 years later, still trying to make it work, and still chasing numbers.
