I was 12 when I was diagnosed with T1D —a peak time for middle school insecurity. And although it has brought many challenges and difficult, I have also learned who I am and have made so many fantastic friends throughout the past decade because I have type 1. Cheers to 10 years of DIY-ing my pancreas, and here’s to many more. PS. Thank you for all the work you do to bring the T1D community together. It is truly incredible.
