Enable Biosciences Autoantibody Screening
Sanofi is excited to host an educational Type 1 Diabetes Autoantibody Testing Event, offering free autoantibody testing provided by Enable Biosciences, Inc. This screening can help detect the earliest stage of type 1 diabetes (T1D) years before symptoms appear. Children over the age of 1 and adults are eligible to participate.
- Tuesday - Friday, July 8-11, 2025: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Purpose: Identify early signs of T1D by screening for the presence of two or more autoantibodies, which define Stage 1 T1D.
- Eligibility: Children over the age of 1 and adults.
- Sample Collection: A dried blood spot sample will be collected on-site using a finger prick. Samples will be mailed to the lab for analysis.
Preparation: Fasting is not required.
How to Participate
Sign Up & Schedule Your Slot: Pre-Register Online – Pre-scheduling is strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome during event hours.
Walk-In Tips: If you do not pre-register, please bring a personal device (e.g., cell phone) to verify your email address on-site.
Results: Your test results will be returned to you and the authorizing clinician within 1–3 weeks of sample collection.

University of Florida TrialNet will be at Friends for Life Monday thru Friday screening family members of individuals with type 1 diabetes for the risk markers which can predict years in advance if someone may get type 1 diabetes.The test is provided at no cost and involves a simple blood draw. Fasting is not required.

Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System Saline Trials
We invite you and your family to come learn about the Omnipod 5 tubeless automated insulin delivery system. Demonstrations are available on Wednesday July 9th, Thursday July 10th, and Friday July 11th in Sonora A. Any interested adult living with T1D, caregiver to a child/teen with T1D, or child/teen living with T1D (Note: A caregiver must be present), may try the Pod on for size and have your questions answered. During this one-on-one experience, you’ll meet with our team of clinical experts to experience the virtually painless insertion of the Pod cannula with saline and learn how the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System works using the Omnipod 5 Simulator App. We have limited space each day so stop by starting at 9am on Wednesday July 9th to sign up for a spot. Walk ups are welcome as long as spots remain available. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!
