Jeffry D. Gerson, OD, FAAO and A. Paul Chous, MA, OD, FAAO, CDE
Diabetic eye disease is a common complication of diabetes, affecting a third or more of people with diabetes over age 40. The simplest way to prevent or delay disease and vision loss caused by diabetes is to get an annual eye exam. Along with diabetes educators, eye care professionals can help you understand the symptoms of diabetes-related eye disease – and help with early intervention. Eye care professionals are critical members of your diabetes care team. Join us and learn from an expert on how to keep your eyes healthy and your vision strong. This session is sponsored by the American Diabetes Association, Focus on Diabetes Initiative.

Hybrid Closed Loop Systems: The Next Evolution of Diabetes Management

Find out how hybrid closed loop systems work, the pros/cons of the various options, and how to maximize their performance.

In this Sugar Surfing Workshop, Dr. Stephen Ponder will teach attendees how to steer their own glycemic trendlines based on careful analysis and interpretation of recurring glycemic patterns. A method to allow each attendee to individualize their technique will be revealed. To get the most out of this session, attendees are encouraged to watch our Sugar Surfing with Dr. Stephen Ponder Screenside Chat before attending this session.
