My wife who has type 2 diabetes and proliferative diabetic retinopathy has had laser surgery and vitrectomies in both eyes. She has been on medical leave from her job, but that is about to expire. How long should it take for her vision to return? When her medical leave expires, will she be eligible for any kind of disability until her vision does return?
