I have mood swings which usually occur when my sugar has been elevated. Could this be related to fluctuating blood sugars? Do you have any answers and/or suggestions as to whether this could be the case and, if so, how to deal with it?

I am on a pump and having problems with my blood sugar. Is this the result of slow absorption of the Humalog, a dawn effect that continues into the early afternoon, or perhaps reactive hyperglycemia as the result of undetected hypoglycemia during the early morning? Can the Somogyi effect last for as much as 12 hours?
