Diabetes during pregnancy can be dangerous for the mother and also for the developing fetus. Whether or not you had diabetes during your pregnancy isn’t clear from what you wrote. You would have to talk to your obstetrician to answer such a question. I would guess that your child’s brain and nervous system/muscle problems are probably not related to diabetes.
