They chalked it up to stress over my dad and hypoglycemia, but I heard of a case recently where an adult with diabetes had a similar incident that ended up in a violent episode and his suicide. My son has symptoms of hypoglycemia, but when I took to the doctor, they find nothing, and I am getting no help from the doctors. I feel that because he has medicaid and he’s a child, they aren’t giving him enough attention. What do I do to make them see the problem before this happens again?

Our almost five year old daughter has been diagnosed with hypoglycemia, and we have a family history of diabetes on both sides. We would like to know more about hypoglycemia (the symptoms, how to treat them, what to eat or not to eat) and if this condition could lead our daughter to diabetes. Also, our daughter is having some “attitude” problems at school and at home which seem to be when she does not eat for an hour or two. Could these be part of the hypoglycemia?
