When I was pumping, which I will soon be doing again, I took 38.4 units of insulin daily. I’ve been taking 42 units of Lantus. Is it normal to need more Lantus than fast acting insulin in a pump? Am I taking a lot of insulin? Would a high dose interfere with weight loss?
