I was diagnosed about a month ago with type 2 diabetes, but found out that I was “anti-ica512 positive”, GAD negative. I had been on a sulfonylurea diabetes pill, but stopped taking it because I read that sulfonylureas can be destructive to the pancreas in type 1 diabetes.
