Question from India:

Can aspirin or other drugs affect urine glucose readings?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

Most all of our patients with diabetes are treated with aspirin here in the United States. To my knowledge, there is no interference in the measure of urine glucose. However, this is not routinely measured for day-to-day management. Daily monitoring of the blood glucose would be more appropriate.
