Question from India:

Can someone with diabetes have tea with sugar? I do not like unsweetened tea.

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

I would recommend using Splenda, which is a very good tasting artificial sweetener for tea. You can add Splenda to your desired taste without adding any carbohydrates. I hope you can find this sweetener in your local area. If you can’t and you must use table sugar, it may be added, but count the table sugar as carbohydrate (1 teaspoon is 4 grams of carbohydrate).
