Question from Michigan, USA:

I was made aware of an article regarding how the presence of a diabetes school plan affected the child’s final glycohemoglobin. I have been unable to find this article. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

I do not know of any such article. I have a chapter in one of my textbooks that I can make available to anyone interested. There are numerous protocols and articles written by the JDRF, ADA and many other colleagues, i.e., Denis Daneman, Bill Clarke, Janet Silverstein, Georgeanna Klingensmith that similarly address school diabetes issues and all say the same things.
