Almost always, the result of interaction of insulin with other medications is to alter insulin’s effect on the blood sugar level. There are lists of which medications are known to have interactions with insulin, For example, if you look at the labels for insulin products that are available at the insulin manufacturers’ websites, you will find such listings as part of the labeling information. These lists are very slightly different from one product to another, but by looking at two or three, you’ll get a good idea whether any particular medication has been found to interact with insulin.
