Question from Kaneohe, Hawaii, USA:

I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes three months ago. I am also enlisted in the US Navy and have been for four years. I have no family history of diabetes. Is it possible to have contracted this due to vaccines given to me while on active duty?

Answer:
