Type 2
Question from Peru, New York, USA:
I am a 44 year old male who has had type2 diabetes for just over three years and have also been diagnosed with high blood pressure for a number of years. Is it possible for the symptoms of diabetes to in effect correct themselves over a period of time?
Answer:
The most likely scenario for diabetes-related symptoms to correct themselves without changing blood sugar levels would be for you to have gotten accustomed to them. In other words, the marked thirst and urination is something some get use to. Another situation is where you lose enough weight to correct your sugars downward after a period of suffering persistent hyperglycemia.

Can your diabetes get better as you exercise, lose weight and follow your meal plan ?– you bet! Keep up the good work.
