I would suggest you set up an appointment with a registered dietitian (RD) to develop an individualized meal plan to assist with weight loss while obtaining optimal blood sugar control. Sometimes insulin pumpers can lose some weight with a more flexible meal plan and bolusing options. Ask your physician for a referral to an RD if needed.
