I’m about 35 weeks pregnant. I was told that it’s about time the insulin resistance reached a plateau, and I will be more stable from now on. Is this true? When does insulin resistance peak off?

Insulin resistance persists throughout the pregnancy. I have seen insulin requirements stop increasing in some patients, and, in others, the insulin need still rises. Glucose management does appear to be more stable towards the end of pregnancy.
