Question from Ennis, Ireland:

Is Coke Zero bad for me even though it says there is no sugar in it?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

Any beverage with artificial sweeteners, especially Splenda, is certainly fine to drink because it has no or very little carbohydrate content and is safe to use. For optimal blood sugar control, it’s better to drink these than sodas with sugar. Just be careful with the amount of diet soda consumed, not because of the sugar content but because too much caffeine can cause some dehydration, which might raise blood sugars indirectly. All things in moderation.
