Daily Care, Insulin Pumps

My 12 year old daughter, who has only had diabetes for two years, has just started using a pump. Her blood sugars were great for the first week (the best they have been in two years), but now they have gone sky high again (450-500 mg/dl [25-27.8 mmol/L]). We are counting carbs like crazy, and the machine is in good working order. Please help — she is really upset and frustrated!
